Q: How do you work with clients?
A: Coaching needs to be customized, accessible and responsive to our busy lives in order to be most useful. So when a person first contacts me, we design the “what, when and how” of our coaching partnership. Some clients prefer to meet in person since they are most comfortable working face-to-face. Many clients, though, are from other parts of the country so we work by telephone and have contact by e-mail in between. People often ask “How frequently do you meet for coaching/” and “How long will coaching take?” There’s no standard course. I spend time with each person to customize the frequency of our sessions to best support their goals.
